Rep. Goehner and Steele discuss the Long-Term Care Act KOZI

Rep. Keith Goehner, R-Dryden, and Rep. Mike Steele, R-Chelan, discuss the Long-Term Care Act and legislation looking at the effects of alternative energy sites.

Rep. Steele discussed the Long-Term Care Act legislation passed by the House, which would suspend the tax for 18 months, giving legislators time to adjust the tax and program.

Rep. Goehner spoke about alternative energy potentially coming to Eastern Washington. However, there are concerns state government could impose its will on counties and districts without allowing them to make their own informed decision about alternative energy sources.
