Rep. Mike Steele, R-Chelan, and Rep. Keith Goehner, R-Dryden, talk on KPQ about alternative energy and the Long-Term Care Act.
Rep. Goehner discussed the possible issues with alternative energy coming to small communities in Eastern Washington. His biggest concern is the possibility of State government overreach without allowing the counties and districts to make their own determination about alternative energy sites.
Rep. Steele talked about the legislation that would suspend the Long-Term Care Act for 18 months. It now heads to the Senate for consideration.
