Keith Goehner is a first-term Senator representing the 12th Legislative District in Washington State. Goehner served three terms in the House of Representatives before being elected to the Senate.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in education from Seattle Pacific University and is a former schoolteacher and a third-generation orchardist.

Sen. Goehner came to the Legislature with an extensive background in local government. He served four terms as a Chelan County Commissioner and has held elected positions on the Winter Pear Committee, the Blue Star Growers Board, and the Peshastin-Dryden School Board.

His community service includes the Leavenworth Church of the Nazarene Board, Rotary, the Confluence Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees, and the Cascade Education Foundation. He has also coached youth basketball and baseball.

Goehner and his wife, Lisa, have been married for 48 years and have seven grandchildren. They raised their three grown children on their family orchard in Dryden.

Goehner serves as the Ranking Republican on the Senate Housing Committee and Assistant Ranking Republican on the Transportation Committee. He also serves on the Senate Local Government Committee.
