12th Legislative District Town Hall

Town Hall on October 11 in Carnation

Sen. Goehner, R-Dryden, Rep. Steele, R-Chelan, and Rep. Brian Burnett, R-Wenatchee, will hold a town hall on Oct. 11.

My colleagues and I, Rep. Mike Steele and Rep. Brian Burnett, will hold a community town hall on Saturday, October 11, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Miller’s, located at 4597 Tolt Ave. in Carnation.

If you are able to attend, we would love to see you.

The event, supported by the City of Carnation, is open to the public and provides residents with an opportunity to reflect on the 2025 legislative session, review progress on key issues impacting the 12th District, and get a preview of upcoming legislation expected in 2026. You will be able to ask questions, share feedback, and speak directly with your state legislators.

In a joint statement, we would like to emphasize the importance of the event:

“Every legislative session involves making choices that directly affect the people of the 12th District. As we prepare for 2026, we want to hear what’s working, what’s not, and where the Legislature should focus its efforts. These conversations help us bring your voice to Olympia and ensure that the policies we pursue genuinely address the needs of our communities. We invite everyone to participate in this dialogue.”

Topics of discussion at the Town Hall include housing affordability, transportation challenges, tax policy, education priorities, and other pressing issues shaping our region’s future.

I hope you can make it and looking forward to connecting.
